Memorial Jewelry

Jewelry is a personal ornament, such as necklace, ring or bracelet, made from gemstones, precious metals, leather or other materials. Jewelry can be a distinctive way to memorialize a loved one.

Two types of memorial jewelry are available:

Cremation Jewelry contains a small portion of cremated remains or incorporates a small portion of cremated remains into the piece of jewelry. Also, cremated remains can be converted into a diamond. Jewelry made from the diamond would be considered cremation jewelry. Another example uses a process in which a small portion of cremated remains is added to molten glass. When cooled, the ash creates a swirl inside a glass ornament. This ornament also would be considered cremation jewelry.

Keepsake Jewelry has significant meaning in relation to a particular person, event or animal friend. Many varieties exist. One company makes jewelry from fingerprint impressions. Several companies make jewelry that contains a small photograph of a loved one. Keepsake jewelry memorializes a loved one.
